About Me

Richard Wallace, known musically as ‘A Serious Happening’, emerges from the vibrant musical landscape of Burlington, Ontario. A multi-talented musician, he thrives as a composer, songwriter, and producer, forging a path defined by creativity and exploration.

Over the years, Richard honed his craft, continually expanding his repertoire and musical palette. In early 2024, he proudly unveiled his debut artist album, The Revisionist, a testament to years of dedication and artistic evolution. His musical style, rooted in rock instrumentation, deftly weaves elements from various genres, offering listeners a rich tapestry of sound and emotion.

In late 2024, Richard composed his first Production Music album, Heavy Rock, an energetic mix of loud guitars and big drums, where every note tells a story and every beat resonates with passion.

Richard has established himself as a skilled music producer through his work with Kev Michael Stevenson. Together, they have released three critically acclaimed albums, blending innovation and artistry to craft compelling music. Their collaboration continues, with two more albums already in the works, highlighting Richard’s talent for bringing an artist’s vision to life. Richard is also available for work as a producer or collaborator on other musical projects, bringing his expertise and passion to help artists achieve their creative goals.
